It was the 75th Indian Independence Day this year which means India has achieved 74 years of freedom. We as Indians pay respect to all the leaders who fought bravely for our nation's freedom in the past. This day reminds us of all the sacrifices that were made by our freedom fighters in order to set India free from British rule. We at Army Institute of Management, Kolkata celebrated this special day with Flag - rising ceremony and we were unable to perform cultural programmes due to COVID-19 Pandemic but as Institutional Social Responsibility, we inaugurated "Pratikshalay". It is actually a public utility place consisting of unisex toilet and a filtered water cooler. This area also serves as a place where standby people can wait for the arrival of their transport.
