[Colloquium] Pharmaceutical Industry - An IT perspective

The third colloquium of MBA 16 was held on 27 September 2012 and the topic was Pharmaceutical Industry-An IT perspective. Speaker of the evening were Mr. Suman Das, mba 09, Senior Business analyst in HCL Technologies who shared his valuable experience and knowledge about pharmaceutical industry ,its perspective in IT industry and how an MBA graduate can equip himself according to the requirement of this industry. He started presentation with few names of Indian pharmaceutical companies like Dabur, Novartis etc then he discussed about the different varieties of Drugs and how there manufacturing is being done also the procedures involved in its testing and finally its sales in the market. Then he addressed on what all responsibility a MBA graduate has to handle under this industry.
