SocialFuzz was the first Vikreta event organised in the session 2012-2013. It was attended by the students of both MBA-15 and MBA-16, the theme of the event being ‘Social Media’.

The event was divided in three parts.
  1. Case Study : We opened the event by showing two videos depicting how brands used social media to connect with the mass successfully. The first video was about ‘Cannon EOS Photochain’ campaign. This was an online campaign which invited photographers of all skill levels to upload photos and thus form various chains, where one photograph became the inspiration for the next photo. The second video was that of ‘Sony Ericsson Xperia Social Experiments’ which showcased how the brand turned around the prevailing negative brand sentiments on their most critical channels ie their Facebook page in a unique way. Each video was followed by a two-way discussion between us and the audience.
  2.  Social Media Quiz : A quiz was held with questions revolving around the theme of Social Media.
  3.  SocialFix : The last part of the event was an activity for the audience where in the teams were given a brand and a problem each. They were asked to make a presentation showing how they would address the problem using any form of social media.
