Every year, on June 21st, people worldwide come together to commemorate International Yoga Day. This special occasion serves as a reminder of the deep advantages that yoga imparts to our lives, encompassing both physical and mental well-being. Yoga extends beyond mere physical exercise and encompasses a comprehensive discipline that combines asanas (physical postures), pranayama (breathing techniques), meditation, and ethical principles. It is a practice that unifies the mind, body, and spirit, fostering self-awareness, stress reduction, and inner tranquility.

Princi from MBA-26 organized a yoga session for MBA-26, where she instructed us in several asanas, pranayamas, and concluded with meditation. The asanas included Sukh asana, Tada asana, Vriksha asana, Sarvang asana, Sav asana, Gomukh asana, and Trikon asana. The pranayamas consisted of Arunom vilom pranayama, Bhramri pranayama, Kapalbhati Pranayama, and Sheetli Pranayama.

As we celebrate International Yoga Day, let us embrace the profound benefits that yoga brings into our lives. By incorporating yoga into our college routines, we can enhance our physical well-being, reduce stress, and nurture inner harmony. Let us acknowledge the transformative power of this ancient practice in shaping our college journey, enabling us to thrive both academically and personally. So, unroll your yoga mat, take a deep breath, and embark on a journey towards holistic well-being. Namaste!
